was to help train these students to see needs around them to give them an opportunity to stand up and say Let s Help Him Her by This was interesting to see how students think and perceive the world around them Our group split into two one to tackle some door to door opportunities while the other group headed to a park to hand out needed food gloves hats to people in need It was amazing to see the students processing how to help and serve their neighbors One more night session was ahead of us Entering the large group room the band began to play I knew it was going to be a good night Students pursuing the front of the room to get closer and closer Hands raised high Singing so loudly and proudly to a God that loves them Wow One of my favorite tid bits of worship is when the lead singer steps back to allow the students to sing As the crowd continues on with the song I think about how heaven is going to be A large mass of people singing to God bringing glory to our heavenly father I love it I must say Jake Taylor and his band were amazing all weekend but definitely hit the nail on the head with this worship set He is jealous for me Loves like a hurricane I am a tree Bending beneath the weight of his wind and mercy When all of a sudden I am unaware of these afflictions eclipsed by glory And I realise just how beautiful You are And how great Your affections are for me And oh how He loves us so Oh how He loves us How He loves us all God Loves you Adam walked through this concept continuing

shifted gears into a let s dig deeper mode We were blessed with a speaker this weekend Adam Robinson who started off teaching about How Jesus mode of culture is a Last First mode Jesus says If you want to be first you must first be last When you think about this concept of loving others before yourself you start to see that we live in a culture that is completely contradictory to that statement Here in America our gut reaction is to maintain the highest level of success for any given opportunity Jesus tells us to open up your eyes and serve others instead of worrying about your own needs After this message this spun off into some good tough thinking Engrained in our culture we realize we are wired selfishly without even trying How can you help someone out today How can I put others before myself Night 1 down another whole day to go Share this Tweet Email More Print Author Jay No comments Be the first to post a comment Close Leave a Reply Cancel reply Previous article Saturday Roots are Growing November 7 2010 Next article Rooted Discipleship Weekend November 5 2010 Find Some Cool

  • Give some bibles - jayreynolds.infojayreynolds.info
see these Indian men woman and students get their hands on the word of God In my trips to India I have seen the hunger for bibles as Kevin describes As I recall one pastor opened his bible to read a verse and the binding was completely gone Only loose pages remain as the bible showed signs of wear and tear from utilizing his most prized possession Sometimes I m guilty of lacking that hunger for God s word To push through the crowd to desire God so badly that I would fight for it Sure I have an old duct taped War Veteran Bible that lies on my desk Then I turn to my bookshelf there s 3 more on another bookshelf there s more The problem being I have an overexposure to God s word that I become inundated with this simple desire and hunger for what is inside Let s get simple How do you keep a strong desire for God s word the bible A hunger A thirst My first thoughts are to read it Drop some comments below as to some great verses to check out to share with others Another way might be to help others get a bible Jesus calls us to make disciples and through the years as the bible became more readily available it is the perfect tool for discipleship How about try to help get people bibles If you are able to this challenge has come before me 24 in 24 matching gift challenge Up to 2 400 will be matched for 24 hours Began November 4 at midnight If you are able to or can pass this link along please help out Thanks Visit GlobalhopeIndia org to help Donate some bibles DHEVUDU NINNU DHEEVINCHUNU Telagu Jesus Loves you Share
